How to Make Homemade Bisquick
If you are a fan of Bisquick, let us share how to make Bisquick with 4 simple ingredients. You will be amazed at how simple it is to make.
Then you can whip up this Bisquick biscuit recipe any times you get a craving for a homemade biscuit.
How to Make

1. Prepare the biscuits by mixing the Bisquick, parmesan, and garlic powder. Add in milk and stir.
2. Add biscuit batter to the baking sheet. Add on the garlic, parmesan, and parsley, and bake.

3. Combine melted butter, parsley, and garlic powder. Drizzle on top of the biscuits.
4. Serve warm with your usual meal and devour!

Expert Tips
- You can swap the milk for any of your usual milk alternatives. Use heavy cream for a bolder and more rich flavor, or stick with something like almond milk for a non-dairy option.
- Using a 1/4 or a cookie scoop will ensure that the biscuits are the same size. They will bake more evenly when they are uniform in size.
- Don’t overbake the garlic biscuits, or they will be dried out and not as fluffy.
Practical notes
Can these be made gluten free?Sure, you can buy the gluten-free version of Bisquick. You’ll need to follow the directions, except using that instead. This is a great gluten-free option.
Do we need salted or unsalted butter?Either will work, but we prefer to use unsalted butter. Parmesan cheese naturally has a lot of salt in it, so adding salted butter could cause it to be too salty.
Can we make biscuits ahead of time?Yep, this is an ideal recipe for making ahead of time. Prepare the biscuits as directed, then keep them in an airtight container. They will last for 2 days. You can quickly reheat them in the microwave for 10 seconds or so to warm them up.
Do the biscuits need rolled out?Nope! Save yourself time and drop the dough on the baking sheet. This is a straightforward recipe that doesn’t require any special tools or rolling out the biscuit dough.
