Common Question
How to soften cream cheese fast?If you forgot to sit out your cream cheese you can do two other ways to soften your cream cheese. One you can get some warm water and place in a bowl. Add your packet of cream cheese in the foil wrapping in the warm water. Let it sit for 10-15 minutes. It will then be softened. u003cbru003eu003cbru003eThe other option is to unwrap and place cream cheese in a bowl and microwave for 30 seconds. Flip over and reheat for 20-30 seconds more. If your microwave runs hot, do for a less amount of time, to prevent melting the cream cheese.
How long can a dessert dip sit out at room temperature?According to the FDA you don’t want your dip to be left out for more than 2 hours. If you have come close to the 2 hour mark, cover and place the fruit dip back in the fridge for a minimum of 30 minutes. This will help chill the dessert dip. u003cbru003eu003cbru003eThen you can return it to serving again. Once that 2 hour mark hits the temperature changes so much it can be a breeding ground for bacteria to begin growing.
Can we double this recipe?Go right ahead and double or even triple the recipe. We wanted a smaller batch so we made a little. But you can honestly make as much of this raspberry dip as you would like.
How to tell if raspberries are spoiled? You will know if raspberries are spoiled by the way they look and feel. Soft, mushy, or mold are the main signs to look for when looking for ripeness of these berries. Raspberries will also offer an off-putting smell as they begin to spoil.
Should you keep raspberries in the fridge?Raspberries should be kept in the refrigerator, as they are delicate and will spoil if left out at room temperature for too long. If you won’t eat all your berries before they go bad, freeze them to use in other desserts like this dip, dump cakes, etc.
