We know it might sound weird to some but we do not like tomatoes alone. We can eat them if it is ketchup, pasta sauce, or mixed in with food. But to slice and eat a tomato, we just can’t. They always taste like dirt to us and the texture gets to us. But, when we were at the store and saw these heirloom tomatoes we just knew we had to make something with them.

We have the option to add in red pepper flakes. This is a great way to add spice to your tomato pasta. If you prefer to skip the heat then just don’t add the red peppers in.
